Representative Projects
CITY OF HOLLISTER
Designed various storm drain, sanitary sewer, water main, street construction and street rehabilitation projects. Projects included: North Street Extension connecting Santa Ana Road and Buena Vista Road; Rustic Street Storm Drain & Detention Pond, a major collector for the Northern portion of the City; Meridian Street Assessment District, providing road and utility design; Bundeson storm drain project (approximately 1.5 miles of 36” to 60”); San Juan Highway to Hillcrest Road storm drain (approximately 3 miles of 48” to 84” pipe); reconstruction of miscellaneous City streets for 1996 and 1998 Road Rehabilitation Projects.
SAN BENITO HEALTH CARE DISTRICT – RADIOLOGY WING EXPANSION
Worked with the architect and hospital staff in preparing the improvement plans, cost estimates and specifications for the site work for the expansion of the radiology wing at Hazel Hawkins Hospital.
SAN BENITO HEALTH CARE DISTRICT – SKILLED NURSING FACILITY (Phase 1 & 2)
Worked with the architect and hospital staff in preparing the improvement plans, cost estimates, specifications and construction staking and construction review for the site work at the new skilled nursing facility at Hazel Hawkins Hospital.
CITY OF HOLLISTER WEST GATEWAY
Planning and design of the ½ mile West Gateway corridor improvements. Design included aerial topography, public meetings and property owner coordination, preparation of plans & specs, road improvement design including P.G.&E. coordination. Construction phase on hold pending funding.
CITY OF HOLLISTER RIVER TRAIL PROJECT CIP 2308
Design including; topographic mapping, right of way mapping, preparation of plans and specifications including underground utilities, a 4,800 LF walking and biking trail between Bridgevale Avenue and Apricot Lane in the City of Hollister. Construction phase on hold pending funding.
SUNNYSLOPE COUNTY WATER DISTRICT – NEW OFFICE SITE
Performed topographic and boundary survey, prepared improvement plans for on site improvements in coordination with architect, prepared improvement plans for state highway improvements, and provided construction staking and review for new office site on Airline Highway.
SAN BENITO COUNTY – CIENEGA ROAD & BRIDGE
Right of way maps and legal descriptions, road improvement design, specifications, and coordination with ConSpan for bridge design on Cienega Road at Hospital Road. Construction staking for bridge construction provided. Bridge completed in 2009 by the Don Chapin Company. Road improvements to be constructed at a future date.
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS
Services provided included: topographic survey, easement descriptions, improvement plan design, and specifications. Coordination with City, San Benito County, and Caltrans during construction. Construction staking services and Caltrans grid survey provided during construction. Project completed 2010 by Pavex Construction.
TAMC – MONTEREY BRANCH LINE
Provided aerial control for photogrammetric mapping, utility location surveys and cross-sections for preliminary design of commuter rail system in Monterey County.
